In February 2017, advice was received from the Joint Use Library Committee that existing management arrangements for School Community Libraries were to be disbanded and new arrangements to be put in place for the 2018 school year.
The Community Library Committee is a joint establishment of the Port Broughton Area School and the District Council of Barunga West, for the purpose of governance and oversight of the Community Library based within the Port Broughton Area School.
