Effective 12 noon Friday March 27 2020 until further notice. We will be restricting our customer service to telephone, email and website or by pre-arranged appointment only where deemed necessary. Please phone the office to discuss an appointment if you require one, we do not anticipate delays. If you have documents or a package for Council, please phone and we will arrange access. PORT BROUGHTON COUNCIL OFFICE CLOSED TO WALK-INS

Barunga West Council is committed to the safety of our community and our staff. Council’s focus is on minimising the risk of spread of COVID-19.

We will be restricting our customer service to telephone, email and website or by pre-arranged appointment only where deemed necessary. Please phone the office to discuss an appointment if you require one, we do not anticipate delays.  If you have documents or a package for Council, please phone and we will arrange access.

The self-serve Centrelink computer service will not be available for use as per advice from the national agency.

There is no change to our works program or our essential service delivery across the Council district at this time.

Please note that the Bute Council office will be operating as normal at this time due to our Australia Post commitments. Customers must adhere to social distancing protocols and only enter the office if necessary, one customer at a time.
