The Port Broughton Classic & Vintage Show N Shine once again proved a major drawcard for the region, with more than 100 immaculate vehicles lining the Port Broughton Foreshore on Sunday 31 May for the event's sixth year.

With the sun shining and a cool coastal breeze setting the scene, spectators enjoyed a stunning display of classic, vintage and custom vehicles against the backdrop of Spencer Gulf. The annual event attracted individual vehicle enthusiasts and car clubs from across South Australia, further cementing its reputation as one of the premier motoring events on the Yorke Peninsula.

The Show N Shine continues to deliver positive economic benefits for the local community, attracting visitors who support local accommodation providers, cafes, hotels, retailers and tourism operators throughout the weekend.

Barunga West Council Mayor Leonie Kerley said the event continues to grow in popularity and provides a fantastic opportunity to showcase Port Broughton and the broader Top of the Yorke region.

"Events such as the Port Broughton Classic & Vintage Show N Shine not only bring people together through a shared passion for motoring, but also create valuable economic activity for our local businesses," Mayor Kerley said.

"The quality of vehicles on display was exceptional and it was wonderful to see so many visitors enjoying our foreshore, supporting local businesses and experiencing everything our region has to offer."

Council extends its sincere thanks to the many local businesses that generously donated prizes and supported the event, helping to ensure its ongoing success.
